HAGERSVILLE, Ontario — The strong performances continue for DY Racing in 2019, as Eric Yorke scored a top-five finish in the Mini Stock invitational at Jukasa Motor Speedway.
Yorke started off the afternoon fast, time trialing quickest with a lap of 22.522 seconds around the half-mile oval. Lisa DeLeeuw also put up a solid lap, qualifying 31st with a lap of 26.041 seconds.
The pair of teammates would run strong throughout the 35-lap feature, with Yorke keeping himself within the top-three for the whole event. Unfortunately, he would fall back a couple spots in the final six laps, crossing the finish line in fifth. DeLeeuw also put together a solid run, making up a bit of ground at times, ultimately finishing 27th.
Yorke is proud to be supported by Can-Alignment Motorsports, Solex Steel, Partimer Signs, Skytec Rentals, Budget Tire, Scentsy Consultant – Lisa DeLeeuw, and Cabral Racing Promotions.
